Shade Ladipo says GUS fans should leave Toke Makinwa alone

Nigerian OAP, Shade Ladipo has defended her colleague, Toke Makinwa amidst backlashes heaped on her for hosting Gulder ultimate search (GUS)

Gulder Ultimate search which made its return to the big screen about a month ago disappointed a few fans when they announced Toke Makinwa as the show’s host for this season.

Since the show kicked off, viewers have opined that Toke Makinwa is a poor choice of host for the show as her personality and hosting capability does not match the fierceness of the show.

Just this morning, a Twitter user tweeted that Gulder Ultimate Search is under performing and has low ratings and views this season because Toke Makinwa was made host. The Twitter user analyzed that Toke Makinwa’s hosting abilities are not for a show like Gulder Ultimate search.

Reacting to the several backlashes, Shade Ladipo has corrected the notion that the show lost relevance because of their host this season, she stated via her insta-story that the reason Gulder Ultimate search is not as popular as other current reality TV shows like BBNaija is because Gulder Ultimate search has  no love, drama or phonographic content.

People are not watching GUS because there’s no Sex, Love, Drama (that involves sex/Love) & Awwwwnn
