PANDEMONIUM IN NIGER STATE AFTER BANDIT ATTACK
The country’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has sparked several reactions after a photo of a page from its handbook surfaced on the internet.
A section of the handbook advised Corp members to always have someone at hand who can pay ransoms on their behalf in case they are kidnapped.
When travelling on high risks roads such as Abuja-Kaduna, Abuja-Lokoja-Okene or Aba-Port Harcourt roads, then alert your family members, friends and colleagues, in order to have someone on hand to pay off the ransom that could be demanded.

I'm yet to understand this statement if its actually true. Are they planning to kidnap corpers under their care? Or are they telling kidnappers that business is available? or they are praying for them to be kidnapped, this statement shouldn't be taken likely, if its really true NYSC Said such!

Is it not better for the NYSC programme to be suspended temporary since the Government can't guarantee the safety of it's members or Better still make it selectively Optional for graduates or let them serve in their state of residence.
