Former president of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN) Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast in her times of difficulties.

Sanusi while addressing members of the Tijjaniyya Sect in Nigeria, urged Nigerians to be prayerful towards growth and development of the country. The former Kano Emir further advised Nigerians to desist from cursing and criticizing people in government; he also added  that we must do away with corrupt practices, maintain peace and unity to facilitate faster growth and development within the country.

Sanusi’s words in quotes;

In my own knowledge about economy, I know that we must s*ffer to get things right. What is expected of us now is patient, fervent prayers and we must stand up to get things better in our own way through a legitimate ways.

We must desist from ab*sing or c*rsing our leaders because the Holy Prophet is against that. And we will not involve ourselves in corrupt practices and other atrocities because our religion preaches against it. We must change for the better and remain committed to peace and development of our societies.
