Afrobeat serial hit maker and young legend, Rema has advised his fans popularly known as ‘Ravers’ to stay away from social media dramas.
The ‘Beamer’ singer via a tweet strictly warned his fans to desist with anything that has to do with comparing him with other artists or trying to ignite a feud between him and other artists.
Coming after some fans made some comparisons between Rema and DMW’s Peruzzi; Rema cautioned his fans not to compare him in any way with his colleagues who came in the game before him.
It’s okay to defend my name when they try to paint me and my brand black but do not in any way disrespect the OG’s; a part of the tweet explained.
Ravers I’ll love to address something real quick yeah, please guys never start an agenda that has to do with bringing my brothers or the OGs down. You’re allowed to have my back in any ploy curated to put dirt on my name and hardwork but never start an agenda. It’s disrespectful!
I just want to play my part in history, stack up and take care of my family bro I don’t want any of this unnecessary social media drama. We are winning and that’s enough for us, okay? If some people are insecure about it let them choke on it, who God has blessed no man can curse.
Rema went ahead to thank his senior colleagues who started music before him, according to the young champ, they inspire him in many ways.
Lastly thank you OGs for inspiring me in different ways, thank you for what you’ve done and what you’re doing for Afrobeat. My love and respect for you all remain UNSHAKEN.
All has been said, management take over.
