PANDEMONIUM IN NIGER STATE AFTER BANDIT ATTACK
On Saturday, 31st July, the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja uncovered reality TV show for the purpose of creating an opportunity for youths in Nigeria to start and expand their creative careers.
The Youth Chaplain of the Archdiocese, Reverend Father Johnsixtus Okonkwo, stated that the spiritual and physical well-being of youths in Nigeria has been a great cause for concern. He further said that this concern is born out of the fact that most reality TV shows promote nudity and immoral acts and these do not glorify the name of God. Therefore, the show has been blessed and endorsed by the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, His Grace and Most Reverend Ignatius Kiagama.
According to the coordinator, Dr. Anthony Obiora, the show would register 20 persons from the six geo-political zones in Nigeria and winners, who will win cash prizes during the show, would be picked according to their level of diligence and hard work. These winners will become celebrities who will in turn represent Nigeria and the African continent as a whole, internationally.
Furthermore, the housemates will be engaged in tasks and will have professionals from different industries talk and inspire them on how to become industrious and successful in different fields.
The Head of Production mentioned that the show would be shown on Catholic Television, African Independent Television (AIT) and would be live streamed online for a week in August.
