Recall that Odion Ighalo scored a total of four goals in eight appearances for United. The goals were recorded in his three starts for Manchester United against Club Brugge, Derby County (scored twice) and LASK respectively.

Ighalo won the man of the match in United's 5-0 victory against LASK of Austria in an Europa League knockout match. His goal in this game was voted as the goal of the month for March.
Manchester United's coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke on Ighalo's stay at Old Trafford when he appeared as a special guest on MUTV group chat. He said:
They (Shanghai Greenland Shenhua) have been great towards us, allowing him to play for his dream club. It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish what he started and win a trophy with us.
