Nigerian and Manchester United sensational forward, Odion Jude Ighalo has vowed to continually to show love to the less privileged across the various parts of Nigeria.
Ighalo who rose to fame from the ghettos of Lagos (Ajegunle) has shown consistency through massive investment in his orphanage home situated in Ijegun area of Lagos metropolis.
The Ighalo Orphanage Home was established on the 16th day of December, 2017 during his time in China. He earned over £300,000 per week during his playing days with Chinese Football Club, Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo's Orphanage Home accommodates between 30 to 40 children; with a separate apartment for males and females. The foundation aid in shaping the future of orphans by taking them in; with a pledge to look after them until they are 18, while also educating them in various academic and sporting activities.
Meanwhile, Ighalo chose to fulfill his childhood dream by accepting a pay cut to play for Manchester United. He is currently on a six month loan deal at the Old Trafford club.
