Manchester United's forward, Odion Ighalo have once again shown his clinical goal scoring abilities in his second successive start for the Red Devils.
Ighalo scored a brace during their victory in the fifth round FA Cup match which was played away at the Pride Park stadium of Derby County on Thursday night.
Luke Shaw opened scoring for the Red Devils in the 33rd minute of the game after his half volley bounced over the turf into the top corner of the net.
Ighalo doubled United's lead in the 41st minute of the match. He received a through pass into the 18-yard box, scrambled through two of Derby County's defenders before placing the ball into the bottom right corner of the net through his weaker (left) foot.

With 20 minutes left in the match, the Nigerian born striker pushed the ball forward into the half of the opposing team before placing an intelligent pass to Juan Mata on the far right. Mata beautifully connected the ball back to Ighalo who wasted no time in placing a low shot. The shot was however blocked but the rebound gracefully fell at the feet of Ighalo's favorite foot. Ighalo immediately finished it off into the top corner of the net with the keeper standing no chance to save his team.
Ighalo celebrates second goal
Ighalo's goal in the FA cup has now made him the second African to score for United in the cup competition after South Africa’s Quinton Fortune.
Recall that Ighalo’s scored his first brace for an English club in 2015. Both goals were scored against Liverpool during his playing days at Watford.
Ighalo now has three goals for Manchester United after six appearances in all competitions. The three goals were however scored in two of the matches he started in.
