The Police Command in Lagos, Nigeria has arrested seven armed robbers who are notorious for robbing churches and supermarkets within the Lagos metropolis.
The armed robbers were headed by an Indian woman named Alisha Noble. She claimed that her body was impenetrable to bullets.
Eventually, the female leader and her gangs were caught on Thursday, February 27 after a failed robbery operation along the Lagos Apapa express way.
According to the police, luck ran out of the criminals as soon as they received an intelligence report about their ongoing activity. The armed robbers just before their arrest engaged in a gun battle with the police force who later got reinforcement from the Nigerian Army.
During an interrogation with the police, the gang's leader, Alisha Noble made shocking confessions that no amount of bullet could penetrate her. She claimed to have being fortified back home in India by a priest. However, the priest died after fortifying her.
She was quoted to have arrived Nigeria in 2011, after which she decided to form a robbery squad due to her newly acquired powers. The female gang leader also claimed that said she wields magical powers which she uses during their robbery operation.
Meanwhile, another member of the gang made confessions that they had successfully robbed a number of churches, supermarkets and shops in the past.
The inspector of police incharge of the case made a promise that the police will do all in its power to recover the stolen items by the apprehended criminals.
