The Federal Government of Nigeria have approved the construction of two new seaports according to reports.

The Federal Government made this public on Tuesday through its Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi.

Both seaports are expected to be sited at Bonny in Rivers state and Warri, Delta state respectively.

The former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi confirmed the report through his statements below:

The President has also approved the construction of two new seaports. One in Bonny, Rivers state, the other in Warri, Delta State. At the Lekki deep seaport, construction work is ongoing.
