Families in Niger State of Nigeria are fleeing their homes, in large numbers, after a recent bandit attack.

They, simply known as “bandits” – are heavily armed men who derive pleasure  in terrorizing Nigerians living in rural  areas of some Northern states.

Killing, kidnapping, forcing people out of their homes, and also making jest of government authorities with their brazenness is the order of their day.

 A lot of Nigerians no longer feel safe in their homes as they don't know which place will be the next target.
