Laura Ikeji, popular Instagram figure has advised married men to will their properties to their wives while they’re still alive. Laura said this with reasons that it is now becoming very common to see in-laws taking everything away from women immediately after their husband’s death.

Via her Instagram handle, Laura Ikeji urged men to make their wives a vital part of their companies or businesses if possible. She advised that married men should not hide certain documents and information from their wives especially the ones that pertain to properties.

God forbid in the absence of the husband, the next in line of the property is the wife and the children not the in-laws. In-laws stop harassing the wives. Stop fighting for properties that you didn’t work for.
N husbands tell your wives almost everything. Stop hiding certain information, let her have certain documents, make her Vice President of your company if you can. Even if she doesn’t want to work, get a will, these wives need to be protected.
Nobody is praying for anything bad but I’m tired of hearing in-laws taking things they didn’t work for.
